They say that you can’t choose your family; you’re born into it. We disagree. At Springboard, we are very, very particular and intentional about who we bring into our work-family. So much of life is spent with “co-workers”, why wouldn’t we be? We lean on each other for more than work-related projects though. Together we have cook-off competitions (Jess is the reigning champ), company cookouts, holiday parties, ugly sweater contests, Halloween parties, celebrate birthdays, weddings, newborns and work anniversaries! We loan each other tools, cars, help each other move, help each other with projects around the house and offer a helping hand whenever and wherever possible. Outside of work you can catch at least 3 of us out together exploring Indianapolis at a music festival, local event or toasting a glass at a local pub now and then. It’s one thing to say that your office is like a family. It’s another thing to walk into the office and feel it. Learn more about our individual hobbies and what moves, drives and inspires each of us below.
IT’S ONE THING TO SAY YOUR OFFICE IS LIKE A FamILY. it’s ANOTHER TO WALK INTO THE OFFICE AND FEEL IT.
We operate as a close-knit team and consider ourselves work-family. It’s a well-known fact that you spend more time at work than with your family or doing hobbies and other activities. While this is a reality, we choose to make our work environment as pleasant as possible – and it starts with a team that shares common values and beliefs. Our collaboration happens around our table. Lunch happens there, too.
